I Regret Nothing!! (for now...): 2012

IA/N: So, this is just some random RP I did with Nick and it turned out really sad… And it turns out I’m too lazy to write a summary now… Oh, and forgive me for my bad grammar skills…

“Nick… What if I tell you that I actually had another 3 days to live?” Naoki questions Nick. She was looking at the ground. “… I will do anything to make you happy in your last days… Anything…” Nick stated what he would do. Upon hearing Nick’s answer, Naoki smiled. “I’m really glad to hear that… Because… The doctor said that I had another month to live…” Naoki’s smile turned into a sad smile. “Are you… lying…?” Nick looked at Naoki, not believing his ears. “Nope… It’s the truth…” And then, Nick got really quiet. “Nick?”

“If that’s true, then I will die with you. I will not let you die alone. I don’t want you to die alone…” Nick almost cried. “… But I want you to continue living…” Naoki said while trying to resist crying as well. “No… My life would be meaningless without you…” Nick stated the reason he wanted to die with Naoki. “… Nick, I still have a month to live. So, I want you to make me happy.” Naoki smiled.

And so, a month passed by so quickly. Naoki and Nick were sitting at the rooftop of the hospital. “Well… It’s already been a month…” Nick sighed. He was dreading this day. However, Naoki just smiled as if she doesn’t really care about this anymore. “I won’t forget what you have done…” Behind the smile that is plastered on Naoki’s face hides thousand tears of sadness. She also didn’t want to leave him. “I don’t want you to leave… I don’t want you to die…” Unable to bear the sadness anymore, Nick cried. “I don’t want to spend my days without you, Naoki… I don’t want to…” Naoki forced a smile as she wiped away the tears that were falling down from Nick’s eyes. “Nick… Please don’t cry…” “I don’t want you to die… I don’t want to leave you…” And so, Naoki hugged Nick.

“I don’t want to leave you either…” Nick is still crying, unable to bear the sadness of about to lose his beloved. “Please don’t cry, Nick… I don’t want you to cry on my last day… You promised to see me off with a smile… Nick…” And so, tears streamed down Naoki’s cheeks. “Dammit… Now you’re making me cry as well…”

“… Nick, look at me for a bit…” Nick looked up at Naoki. Once he was facing Naoki, she closed the gap between them and kissed Nick fully on the lips. The kiss lasted for a few moments before Naoki broke the kiss. “Nick, I don’t want to leave you either… but it seems like fate is not letting me stay with you forever…” Naoki sighed. And so, they spent the rest of Naoki’s time cuddling with each other until the clock struck 12 midnight. (A/N: THIS SOUNDS A BIT LIKE CINDERELLA!! OwO)

“Oh… Look at the moon…” Naoki stared at the full moon for the last time. “Yeah…” Nick still couldn’t accept the fact that she is about to die in a few moments. And then, they heard the sound of chains from somewhere. “Be careful, I sense death!” Griswald announced out of nowhere. (Like, seriously, where is he anyway?) “How can you sense death now?” Naoki chuckled. And then the reaper shows up in front of Nick and Naoki. “Well then, your time’s up now.” Instead of trying to defy the Reaper, Naoki stood up after giving Nick a last kiss on his cheek. “Well, know that I will always love you, Nick…”

“Wait.” Nick stood up and kinda glared at the Reaper. “I won’t let you take her away.” It sounds like a challenge! “What can you do?” The Reaper turned to face Nick. “I will stop you from taking her life away at any cost.” Yup, a challenge it is. “… Wait… you can kill Reaper?” Naoki looked astonished. “Heh. I can and I will do it to save you, Naoki.”

(And so, as a result of my laziness, I will time skip the battle as I can’t really describe the battle. All that I know was the battle was a very intense battle.)

“Is it me, or is it getting hot on the roof…?” Naoki mumbled. And so, after a few moments, the Reaper took out his guns. “This is getting a bit serious…” Naoki looked restless the moment she saw the guns. And so, without hesitation, the Reaper shoots Nick. However, before the bullet managed to hit Nick, he had slashed the bullet in half and it fell to the ground. Naoki just looked as if she’s in awe, in which she is. “Looks like I win.” And so, the battle ended with Nick winning.

~Flashback time!!~

“Naoki…” Nick got on his knees. “Eh? Nick?” Naoki looked confuzzled. “I understand if you say no. I still want to know what you think anyway… So…” Nick took out a small red box. When he opened the box, a ring lies in there. “Will you be mine?” Naoki was quite shocked when Nick proposed to her. “I understand if you said—” Before Nick managed to finish, Naoki tackled hugged him to the ground.

~Flasback Ended…~

“Oh, so you CAN defeat the Reaper…” Naoki looked kinda surprised. When they were about to celebrate Nick’s winning against Reaper, Dachi suddenly got out of Nick’s body. “Dachi?” Both Nick and Naoki said at the same time. “You know what? I’m already tired of being in your body for a long time. It’s starting to annoy me, actually.” Dachi complained. “Only one of us will get to live.” Dachi took out his FUCKYEAH sword and points it at Nick. Naoki just stared in horror. “Dachi, what are you planning to do?” Nick looked a little bit anxious. “I already said, only one of us gets to live.” And so, Dachi stabbed Nick. (Once again, I can’t describe a fight)

“Nick!!” Naoki ran up to Nick but was stopped halfway when Dachi threatened her to stay out of this. “Looks like I’ll be the one living from now on.” Dachi smirked when Nick fall down on his knees, coughing blood. “… Nick… No…” Naoki looked like she was about to lose her soul seeing Nick like that. Just when they thought that Nick had died, he stood up. Naoki was surprised to see him suddenly stand up after getting stabbed. “No… I’m not going to die that easily, Dachi…”

“What…? You’re supposed to be dead by now…” Dachi looked very surprised. “Heh… You think that’s enough to kill me…?” Nick smirked. And for some reason, Naoki could see a pair of white wings behind Nick. “… Oh, he does have a pair of angel wings… That’s very pretty…” Naoki said as she admired the wings from where she was standing. And so, with power of laser beams and stuffs, Nick exterminated Dachi for eternity.

Nick turned to face Naoki with a smiling face. Naoki smiled back as she ran up to Nick and tackle him to the ground with a hug. “Now we’ll be able to live together forever!” She looked happy as hell. “Naoki…” Naoki lift her face and looked at Nick. “Yeah?” She was caught off-guard when Nick hugged her tightly, though she responded with a hug as well. “I love you, Naoki.” Nick confessed to Naoki for the… Well, the writer already forgot how many times he said that to Naoki. But one thing for sure, he will continue to say that for as long as he is breathing. “I love you too, Nick!”

As if on cue, the sun rises. “Oh, the sun already rises.” Naoki smiled. “This is the first sunrise that we watched together…” Nick mumbled. “Did you say something, Nick?” Naoki turned to face Nick. “Nothing.” Nick said as he closed the gap between his and Naoki’s lips. That took Naoki by surprise, but she returned the kiss as the sunrise witnesses them living their days from then on.

A/N: Well, I managed to finish it while trying not to make it really suckish… This is the good ending… I wanna insert a bad ending as well… So, on to the bad ending!!

“Well then, your time’s up now.” Instead of trying to defy the Reaper, Naoki stood up after giving Nick a last kiss on his cheek. “Well, know that I will always love you, Nick…” Naoki said as a tear fell down from her eyes as she turned her back on Nick. Nick couldn’t do anything at all. He felt really weak. He didn’t want to let her go, but he couldn’t do anything to stop the Reaper from trying to take her away.

And so, months had passed after Naoki passed away. Nick could not get over the fact that Naoki’s already gone. Well, only a little. He still can’t forget her completely, though. But Naoki’s word kept repeating over and over again in his head. And that word keeps telling him to live his life like a normal person, forget her and try to search for a new girl.

A/N: Meh… I dunno anything anymore… Credits to Nick because he gave me an idea to continue this… But it’s not related with the bad ending, I guess…

Unable to accept Naoki’s death, Nick tried to find a way to get Naoki back. And with the power of Dachi inside his body, he was able to go to the world where the Reaper dwells. And when they are face to face, the Reaper that collected Naoki’s soul made a bet with him. He has to guess which one is the real Naoki. If he got it wrong, he would have to give his and Dachi’s soul because a soul of a devil and an angel are very interesting. And it’s very rare. But if he got it right, he will be able to bring Naoki back to the living world. And so, Nick was brought to a room with 4 fake Naokis and 1 real Naoki and he had to guess which the real one is.

“Nick~ I love you very much~” One of the fake Naoki said. She sounded too happy and lovey dovey and stuffs. ‘No, this is not Naoki…’ Nick thought as he tried searching for the real one. “What the fuck are you lookin’ at?!” Another fake Naoki glared at Nick. ‘Definitely not her… She’s not that angry sounding…’ Nick shook his head and tried searching again. “Shall I kill you so that you’ll be able to stay with me forever?” The third one said with a smile while holding a knife. That scared Nick a bit.

“Hm? What are you looking at?” The fourth one asked while blowing bubblegum. “Don’t ask me where I got this bubblegum.” And then she walked away. After that, he saw one of the Naoki standing a bit far away from him. She looked away when their eyes met and that’s when Nick realizes that she is the real one. “Naoki!” He called out to her and she responded with a quiet voice and a blushing face.

And since the writer is spazzing out too much, let’s just say that Nick managed to get Naoki back and they lived happily ever after.
